THE STRANGER

Wilson is a member of the war crimes commission who is looking for Franz Kindler, one of the Holocaust brains, who has erased his identity. To find him, Wilson follows a former Kindler comrade named Meinike to Harper, Connecticut, where the latter is killed by Kindler before Wilson can identify him. The only clue he has left is the Nazi criminal's fascination with ancient clocks.
